Loyalty Card

  1. By using the Roberts Garages loyalty card, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
  2. The loyalty card is issued by and remains the property of Roberts Garages Limited, who reserve the right to issue, decline or withdraw the loyalty card at any time or to terminate the discount scheme at any time.
  3. The loyalty card is not transferable and may only be used by the named individual.
  4. Your loyalty card may only be used at a Roberts outlet and with other promotional partners who may from time to time be part of the scheme. Your loyalty card cannot be used as a credit card, guarantee card or proof of age.
  5. To earn a discount from any transaction at a Roberts Garages forecourt, your loyalty card must be presented at the till before payment is made.
  6. Roberts Garages Limited will not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any loss, theft or misuse of the card.
  7. Roberts Garages Limited reserves the right to alter or amend the conditions or operation of the loyalty card scheme.
  8. The promoter of the loyalty card is Roberts Garages Limited, Head Office: Springfield Road, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 4LE.
  9. If the loyalty card is not used to make any purchases for a period of 6 months any discount remaining on the card will automatically expire.
  10. We will process your data in accordance with the current laws and regulations.
  11. We will not pass on your data to any third party.

 

Monthly Corporate Card

1. DEFINITIONS

In these conditions the expressions ‘you’ and ‘your’ refer to the account holder, ‘we’, ‘our’ and ‘us’ refer to Roberts Garages Ltd. ‘Card’ means any card, including any additional Card or Roberts card issued for use in operating your account. The ‘applicable rate’ means the interest rate for the time being applicable to this agreement or as varied in accord-acne with paragraph 10 below. ‘Settlement date’ means the 26th day after the date of your statement and ‘statement date’ means the statement date specified on your statement.

2. MINIMUM SPEND

Due to administration costs on operating account facilities, unfortunately we can only open an account if your minimum fuel spend is over £200 per month. However, we do have a Loyalty /Discount card that we operate where the goods are paid for at time of purchase and discounts are given at a similar rate to the account card.

3. THE CARD

Your Roberts card must be presented for all credit account transactions. The card will remain our property and must be returned on demand. It may at any time be retained by us. We may issue additional cards for use in operating your account to anyone you nominate as if the additional card had been issued to you and used by you. You will indemnify us in relation to any liability arising as a result of the use of the additional card. We may require you to sign an acknowledgement of the terms and conditions upon which the additional card is issued prior to its issue. You must destroy any card that is replaced. We will cancel an additional card at your request.

4. PAYMENT OF ACCOUNT

Payment is due strictly by the 26th of the month, following the month of purchase. We require payment to be made by Direct Debit, and you have the added choice of three payment dates, which could save you time and money. If the account is not paid by the 26th of the month, following the month of purchase, you will lose any discounts.  Continued delay in the settlement of outstanding amounts may result in the closure of the account and legal action taken to secure payment. No payment shall be treated as having been made until it is   credited to our account. We shall have reasonable time after receipt of payment in which to credit it. Any cheque returned or referred standing order or Direct Debit recalled will be debited to your account at the date it was credited, and administration charges will be applied accordingly.

5. LOSS OR MISUSE OF THE CARD

You must take every possible care to protect the card from loss, theft, or misuse. You will be liable for all losses if the card is misused with or without your permission. You will not be liable for use of the card which takes place after you have informed us of the loss provided, we receive confirmation in writing. 6. CREDIT LIMIT

We reserve the right at any time in our absolute discretion to impose any credit limit on the use of your account in respect of the cards issued on your account. The outstanding balance on your account (including charges) must not exceed the credit limit at any time.

7. ADDITIONAL CHARGES

We may debit your account with such sums in respect of cheques returned or referred standing orders or Direct Debits recalled as we shall deem reasonable in our absolute discretion to recover additional costs which we may incur.

8. CREDIT BALANCES

Any sum standing to the credit of your account will be held on account for you or refunded to you at your request. You will not however be entitled to any interest on a credit balance.

9. TERMINATION

(a) You may terminate this Agreement, at any time, if you write to us and return all cards.

(b) We may forthwith terminate this Agreement or cancel or suspend the use of any card on death or if you are made bankrupt or are declared ‘en desastre’ or you default.

(c) We may also terminate this Agreement at any time and shall not be required to give any explanation for such termination.

10. DEFAULT

If you fail to make any payment of your account by its due date or to comply with any of these terms, you shall, if we so demand by written notice, pay us the total outstanding balance on your account and return the card. We may debit your account with any loss, expense or extra cost which we may incur as a result of your default under this Agreement.

11.COSTS

In the event of us having to instruct our lawyers or Debt Recovery Agency to recover any sums due by you, you will be responsible for the payment of all our legal fees on a full indemnity basis.
